Pays qui parlent Hindi

Hindi is the official language of India and is also spoken in Nepal, Fiji, Mauritius, Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and by diaspora communities worldwide.

Hindi and Urdu are largely mutually intelligible in spoken form. The main differences are the writing systems (Hindi uses Devanagari, Urdu uses a Perso-Arabic script) and formal vocabulary (Hindi borrows from Sanskrit, Urdu from Arabic and Persian).

Over 600 million people speak Hindi, including about 340 million native speakers. It is the third most spoken language in the world after English and Mandarin Chinese.
